666 MESSENGERS of DECEPTION 666

20: The Oversoul as Saucer
There is building in global society an increasingly intense
expectation of the intervention into human history by UFOs. It is
very similar in tone to the buildup of messianic expectation in the
Hellenistic world in the several centuries preceding the birth of
Christ. The leaders of Roman society may have been caught off guard
by the appearance of Christ, but they had no one to blame but
themselves since milllions of people in the ancient world were
expectantly awaiting some kind of messiah. So today, science and
govenment koo-koo the idea of world contact with the UFOs, while the
contact cults grow ever larger and more insistent that contact is
about to occur.
Imagine, therefore, what you may never have seriously imagined
before. Imagine what would happen if the UFOs were to appear. Imagine
a spaceship of the close encounters of the third kind variety
suddenly appearing in orbit around the Earth. Television and mass
media would carry its image to every man, woman and child on the
planet. Governments would be paralyzed. Science would be helpless to
explain where it came from or how it got here. Millenarian hysteria
would break out everywhere. The UFO would be hailed as savior and
denounced as antichrist. The end of the world would appear imminent,
and all this would occur before the contact was more than a visual
image. Then the UFO would begin its revelation. Vast displays of
beneficent power can be expected. Perhaps it would mysteriously
neutralize all weapons of mass destruction, or it might use some sort
of ray to cure all terrestrial cancer. Whatever it does one may be
sure that its actions will be impressive. Its actions will convert
millions to the UFO religion in a space of hours. Indeed, its actions
will be specifically designed to overwhelm us with the reality of its
power and presence. That will close the first stage of the
revelation.

The second stage will be the teachings. Telepathically imparted, the
specifics of the teachings cannot be anticipated, but they will urge
love, voluntary simplicity, concern for one another, renunciation of
war, perhaps renunciation of the destructive application of science.
Whatever the teachings, the UFO will promise immense reward to those
who follow them and dire consequences for those who do not. And the
teachings will be delivered in so poetically perfect a way, so rich
in understanding and appealing nuances that no one will doubt their
origin in a being wise and good and immensely superior to ourselves.
The delivery of the teachings will set the stage for the third and
last and most shocking phase of the revelation: the departure.

The saucer, promising vaguely to return, will simply disappear. The
entire process could take less than a month. If this seems a short
time recall that the entire public career of Christ lasted only three
years. Christ's career occured in a world where information could
move no faster than a horse's gallup. Yet three years in one small
part of the world was all that was necessary to launch a world
religion that was vital for 1500 years. In a world of electronic
communication the impact of the saucer's arrival, miracles, teaching
and departure would be incalculable - even if it all occured within a
month. The saucer would leave in its wake a science utterly unable to
provide any answers to the important questions concerning what had
gone on. The vast majority of people would be fanatical converts to
the teachings of the saucer, and any institution in opposition to
those teachings could expect to be swept away almost overnight. The
departure of the UFO would create a sense of abandonment, the agony
of which could be expected to echo in the human psyche for centuries.
The only panacea would be the religion of the saucer, the religion
left behind. Science would be discredited and soon abandoned in favor
of a thousand or more years of exegesis of the saucerian message. Is
it not a familiar pattern in the light of our discussion of Christ
and Rome?

What will never be said in the wake of such an event and so must be
said now while there is still time for all of the above to occur and
yet still be deception. A benign deception designed to save us from
our advanced science and infantile ethics, but a deception
nevertheless. The saucer, no matter how alien it appears, no matter
how advanced its demonstrations of power, is NOT a vehicle from some
other star system, it is the oversoul of humanity up to its oldest
trick. If one knows this one can live through the revelation and the
destruction of our scientific world and yet evade the immense power
of this most powerful of all transference phenomenon and thereby
maintain the integrity of one's own soul and spirit. Remember, I am
not a debunker of flying saucers or a defender of science, I am a
contactee, and this book is the painstakingly told story of my own
involvement with the UFOs. I am one of those Vallee has pinpointed as
being a carrier of ideas that pave the way for the scenario I have
just described. Yet from it all I have learned that there is no
religious revelation more satisfying than the hard won fruits of
simple understanding. And there is no liberation to compare with
freeing oneself from the illusions and delusions of the age in which
one lives.

I reach these conclusions through my use and familiarity with
psilocybin and other psychedelic drugs. They immerse their user in
the world of the oversoul and make one privileged to at least a part
of its mechanics of operation. They allow a private dialogue with the
oversoul that is outside the context of the struggle between science
and revelation that leaves no choice between the alienation of the
rationalist and the tired formulas of the fanatic believer.
Psychedelic drugs hold out the possibility of healing the breach
between science and morality at the level of the individual, thus
freeing one to evolve independent of the chaos and transformation the
UFOs may soon bring to humanity.

Vallee's recent book 'Messengers of Deception' vibrates with fear of
the unconscious and alienation from the matrix of the larger psyche
out of which rational thought has emerged. He fears the destruction
of rationalism and scientific thought, yet never once does he mention
the potential world wrecking crisis that the undirected development
of science and technology has brought into being. He paints himself
as an open-minded investigator of UFOs, yet never questions the
motives of the retired and unnamed intelligence officers in which he
places so much faith. It is impossible that the CIA is unaware of the
social impact belief in UFOs is having? If they were unaware of it
before then surely the recent writings of Vallee himself must have
alerted them to the potential challenge UFO beliefs pose to orthodox
institutions. Based on Vallee's own ideas of an informational
struggle between rational and irrational elements, how was he able to
ignore the possibility that the mutilations which he is so eager to
connect with UFOs are nothing more that a govenment agency's clumsy
attempt to discredit the genuine UFO phenomenon? It is a typical
method of the intelligence community to discredit human groups it
opposes by faking atrocities in such a way that they appear to have
been committed by the group whose discrediting is sought. Vallee
gives examples of this but never suspects that some government agency
might be using this technique to impede the transfer of loyalties
from political institutions to the UFOs. He mentions the proximity of
animal mutilations to high-security government installations but
never suggests this might be because such installations are the
source of these mutilations. Few UFO sightings involve confusion
among witnesses over whether or not what they saw was aUFO or a
helicopter. Yet in the animal mutilation cases many witnesses insist
a helicopter was involved. Vallee is at pains to say no physical
evidence of a UFO has ever been collected. Yet later he passes over
the fact that a quite ordinary surgical scalpel was found at one
cattle mutilation site. It seems possible to me that some people in
government have read Vallee and are familiar with his theories
regarding UFOs as a factor introducing shifts in belief systems and
institutional loyalties on a global scale. Without knowing what UFOs
really are these persons and agencies have launched smokescreen
operations designed to cast doubt on the motives and harmlessness of
UFOs and so to retard or halt the shift of loyalties and beliefs now
reaching epidemic proportions. I suspect that Vallee's book may be
the opening shot in a media war whose purpose will be to connect the
occult, right-wing fanatacism, and animal mutilations to the UFO, all
in an effort to cast doubt on the vast power and benign intent of the
saucer phenomenon. Vallee's title 'Messengers of Deception' bears a
curious resemblance to J. Edgar Hoover's 'Masters of Deceit'. There
the boogey man was communism. In Vallee's book we are told the new
boogey man is UFO phenomenon. Who chose the title for Vallee's book?
Was it Vallee or the mysterious major who was so helpful in guiding
Vallee down these new avenues of speculation? I believe that Vallee
whether wittingly or unwittingly is himself a messenger of deception
and has become the spearhead of a conscious effort to sow even deeper
confusion in society regarding UFOs.

We might say it is an effort foredoomed to failure. The collective
overmind of our species is the source of the UFO and its designs
cannot be deflected or turned aside. Its viewpoint is one of
thousands of years and its means visionary and charismatic belief
systems which act to restore the balance between understanding of and
reverence for the universe is a message more powerful than any
offered by the profane materialist societies that have grown so
foolish as to imagine themselves the stewards of human destiny.
Humanity alone and each of us individualy is the steward of human
destiny. This is the real meaning of the UFOs and the experiment at
La Chorrera.

Chapter 21: Open Ending
My own ideas concerning the mechanics by which the oversoul creates
the UFO encounters might take the following form. Dimethyltriptamine
when smoked, snuffed, or injected induces a brief and extremely
intense psychedelic experience whose overwhelming sense of contact
with the Other is unparalleled. For the last decade or so this
extraordinary property of DMT has made it seem to many who sought a
chemical basis for schizophrenia as the long sought schizotoxin.
Studies have proved inconclusive however. DMT concentration has not
been proven to differ significantly in schizophrenic and normal
controls. Studies have established the presence of DMT in the human
body, however the origin and significance of the DMT is unknown.
Although it may reflect endogenous synthesis, it could also result
from diet, bacterial byproducts, human laboratory error, or other
sources. Bearing in mind the bizarre power of the DMT experience, its
presence and unknown role in human metabolism, add one more fact: the
strange aura of suggestibility that can precede the onset of the
intense hallucination phase of the DMT experience. This period of
suggestibility may last 15 seconds to a minute, and is a time during
which the assumptions which the experient projects concerning the
unusual shift of sensory input acquires enormous power. A few moments
later the power of the now numinous assumption overwhelmes the
consciousness of the observer with a scenario while totally bizarre
and outrageous nevertheless is somehow a complete psychological
fulfillment of the expectations formed in the few minutes of
transition that preceded the visionary engulfment.
What I am proposing is that something like this happens during a UFO
close encounter and the cause may very well be something which must
be partially sought in the human organism. Imagine a person wandering
alone in unfamiliar country: suddenly there's a hackle-raising sense
of weirdness, then a feeling of numbness in the limbs, followed by a
clearing of vision and a loud crackling sould. At this point the
sense of strangeness within and without the body would trigger a fear
reaction in most people. The fear reaction causes a rapid and
automatic search for a culturally-validated explaination of what is
going on, and an explaination will always be found. It may range
from, 'I am being bewitched by a demon,' to 'Surely it is a
visitation of the Holy Mother,' to 'My God! It must be a UFO!' In
each case the abandonment of the ego to a culturally prescribed
explaination of the experience of the Other causes the experience to
exfoliate, exploit and elaborate all the themes that the culture's
current myth of the Other entails. It is known that DMT binds
preferentially to certain tissue when introduced into the human body.
Is it not possible that we human beings are occasionally susceptible
to a kind of visionary seizure? When for reasons of stress or diet
these factors combine with psychodynamic factors to initiate a sudden
dumping of accumulated DMT? Pheremones may play a part in this
experience and isolation may be its trigger. Whatever its cause, our
conditioning as individuals causes the experience to plunge us into a
numinous scenario that reflects the deepest concerns and yearnings of
the current culture toward the Other. In our own time this has given
rise to the hope of friendly visiting extraterrestrials. As late as
1917 the miracle at Fatima was interpreted worldwide as a
manifestation of the Virgin Mary. Today it would surely be hailed as
an extraterrestrial contact. If my suggestion regarding DMT were
found to be correct, it would provide insight into the way in which
the cultural feedback thermostat explaination of UFOs put forth by
Vallee and others actually works. Those people who experience the DMT
seizure and are plunged into the current myth of the Other actually
return as apostles of that myth, able to clarify and refine it, and
by those means to exert the tuning and control of historical
development that may be the purpose of the agency behind the UFOs.

Stress, generalized as an impending sense of historical crisis, may
be the factor that induces the UFO/close-contact experience. As the
historical crisis deepens the number of contacts will increase until
the atemporal portion of the mass psyche has effected enough
individuals that there is actually a turning away from the stress-
causing course of action. How well is the Superego able to play the
role of God? Can it come in saucerian splendor to save the world from
the flames at the end of time? Or can it only beckon and warn with
visions and dire prophesy? These are questions that we might answer
if we diligently explore the states of mind that DMT and psilocybin
make available. Perhaps the UFO encounters involve nothing more than
an autonomous and negative psychic complex able to emerge during the
situation of unusual energy dynamics induced in the psyche by
psilocybin. However, a different explainatory approach merges psyche
and world by involving a continuum whose modalities bisect each other
with equal ease. This is the approach which grants the
phenomenological existence of the constructs seen in the Stropharia
trance and in UFO encounters. Indeed, the vast and dreamy world that
we call imagination, or the unconscious, may merge imperceptibly into
autonomously existing worlds we would call 'hyperdimensional',
indicating the paradox of their simultaneous invisibility and their
here-and-nowness in the psilocybin trance with a presence which
belies the term hallucination.

Ahead of us lies the future, where we can expect the ingression of
the alternative dimension to intensify. It is therefore important for
us to have a sense of the powers in that Other world and their
shifting agencies. In a traditional society, our exploration of these
matters would be firmly imbedded in the extant shamanic mythos
concerning these forces. Techniques tried and true would be available
to fortify our psychic constitution. Since we are members of a
profane society whose relation to the unconscious is one of
estrangement, we have no such consolation. No dispelling ritual or
words of proven self-empowerment. By reason and intuition we must
attempt to conquer the fears that attend journeys into the unknown.
But reason and intuition need data with which to construct maps of
reality. If we outdistance the inflow of fact we move beyond the
safety zone of the conjuring rod of intuition and reason. For these
reasons we move slowly and steadily. We are human factors in a multi-
variable equation where the shift of unseen parameters can trigger
large perturbations and resonances of unexpected types. Knowing this,
and knowing how little we do know, we should be excused for this
defense of caution when taking to ourselves the visions which the
Stropharia brings.

Carl Jung's 'Mysterium Coniunctionis' reminds us of the reality of
the situation that insues once the psyche is hooked into making the
transference to the alchemical or saucerian goal. Jung, citing
Gerhart Dorn, stresses that the materialization of the stone is only
a prologue to the experience of the perfected self in a state of
illumination. Jung wrote, 'Though we know from experience that
psychic processes are related to material ones, we are not in a
position to say in what this relationship consists, or how it is
possible at all. Precisely because the psyche and the physical are
mutually dependent it has often been conjectured that they may be
identical somewhere beyond our present experience.' Of what does this
relationship consist? My own hunch, and it is only a hunch, is that
an explicitly spatial dimension - of a co-dimension inclusive of our
continuum - allows a hologram of other realized forms of
organization, far distant, to become visible at certain levels of
quantum resonance in the synaptic field. These levels have been
damped by selection in favor of more directly relevant lines of
information relating to animal survival. Evolution does not reinforce
selectively the ability of an organism to perceive at a distance
since such an ability has no selective advantage, unless the
information it conveys falls upon the receptors of an organism
already sophisicated enough in its use of symbols to abstract
concepts for later application in different contexts.

Thus, these quantum resonances carrying intimations of events at a
distance only begin to acquire genetic reinforcement once a species
has already achieved sufficient sophistication to be called conscious
and mind-possessing. The use of hallucinogens can be seen as an
attempt at medical engineering which amplifies, for inspection by
consciousness, the quantum resonance of the other parts of the
spatial continuum holographically at hand. This experience is the
vision which the UFOs and psilocybin impart: visions of strange
planets, life forms, perspectives and societies, machines, ruins,
landscapes. The hierophanies all unfold in a 'nunc-stans' that has
all space -standing in it- like a frozen hologram. Thus,
experimentation with hallucinogens by human beings and the rise in
endogenously produced hallucinogens as one advances through the
primate phylogeny could both be due to a slow focusing on the
phenomenon of imagination. Imagination being the deepening
involvement of the species with things beheld but not actually
existing in the present at hand.

The conclusion such an idea makes necessary is that it is upon the
ideological content of specific visions that empirical attention
should center. What are the working details of the worlds whose
presence impinges on ours so strongly? What of the beings sometimes
confronted often furtively sensed, who seem to have some existence in
a world of their own revealed by the psilocybin and in UFO contact?
There may exist a vast communication network in the topological
nature of things. A network that becomes a fact only for those
species or individuals who will but have the intelligence enough to
seek this vision. It will by them be found to be persistent in the
nature of things. Alchemy thrives in a climate of such ideas. To
validate the idea of the worth of the visions of worlds at a distance
one must emerge with some idea spawned by the visionary Other but
with a utility in the here and now. The wave quantification of the I
Ching is the only idea of this sort that I personally have glimpsed
in completeness. It took years to elaborate and its relation to the
here and now is still elusive. Fragmentary themes abound: symbiosis,
saucer-lens vehicles whose possessors navigate the higher topological
oceans in our heads. All this could be transference and fantasy. In
the classical sense of the word the experimenter with hallucinogens
pursues gnosis: privileged knowledge concerning nature and vouchsafed
by her in ecstacy.

The history of consciousness is the halting exploration of the once
irrational images and processes met in dreams and trace. Such images
become concepts and discoveries as information flows through the
multiple-continuum of being seeking equilibrium, yet paradoxically
carrying everywhere images of ways the flow towards entropy was
locally reversed by this being or that society or phenomenon. We are
immersed in a holographic ocean of places and ideas. We can
understand this to whatever depth we are able. The ocean of images
and the intricacy of their connections is infinite. It is perhaps why
great genius preceeds by apparent leaps. Because the revolutionary
idea which inspires the genius comes upon one complete, entire by
itself, from the ocean of mind. History is the story of the search
for the intuitive leap that will reveal the very mechanism of that
other dimension. The need for such a leap by humanity will grow as we
exhaust complexity in all realms save the microphysical and the
psychological. My own method has been immersion in the images and
self- examination of the phenomenon of tryptamine hallucinogenesis.
This means taking the Stropharia psilocybe and pondering just what
this all may mean. With confidence that as more people come to share
this experience time will deepen our understanding, if not answer all
questions. For psilocybin argues that hallucinogens are windows into
higher dimensions. That even as a cone can yield circle, ellipse or
parabola to an act of two-dimensional sectioning and yet remain
intrinsically a cone, so reality is something that changes according
to the angle of regarding. It argues that human beings are many forms
over vast scales of time, that all life is unified at some level, and
all intelligence in the universe are but facets of the mystery called
humanness. In probing the Other we shall always come back with images
of ourselves. In probing ourselves we shall return with images of the
Other. In the phenomenon of being itself no less than in the
phenomenon of the UFO encounters we are merely privileged observers
of a relationship between what is naively called the world and the
transpersonal portion of the human psyche. How this relationship came
to be, and what its limitations are, we cannot know until we gain
access to the transpersonal and atemporal part of the psyche. Of what
this consists we do not know and no hypothesis can be ruled out. My
hunch is that if we could really comprehend death then we could
understand the UFO. But that neither can be understood unless they
are looked at in light of the question, what is humanness? I believe
that the transpersonal component of the human psyche is not distinct
from matter and that therefore it can literally do anything. It is
not subject to the will of any individual. It has a will and an
understanding that is orders of magnitude more sophisticated than any
one of the individuals who compose it as cells compose a body. It has
a plan, glimpsed by individuals only as vision or religious
hierophany. Nevertheless, the plan is unfolding. There will be many
more UFO sightings, many more close contacts. Our belief systems are
undergoing accelerated evolution via increased input from the other.
Somewhere ahead of us there is a critical barrier where we will at
last have enough data to obtain an integrating insight into the
riddle of humanity's relation to the UFO. I believe that as this
happens the childhood of our species will pass away and when this is
done we will be free to use the staggering understanding that
humankind and the UFO are one.

UFO ABDUCTION AND CONTACTEE MESSAGES - AN ANALYSIS

Hundreds of thousands of people in many parts of the world are
claiming they are encountering UFO entities in one way or another.
They have had what is called an "Close Encounter of the Third or
Fourth Kind", a term used by ufologist J. Allen Hynek. There is also
growing public interest in this phenomena due to media attention.
Some CONTACTEES AND ABDUCTEES and also some claiming to be channeling
extra-terrestrials are being revealed the following kinds of
information:

We are not alone in the Universe. We are told - this earth has been
visited many times in the past and presently by different types of
extra-terrestrials. These ET's have been involved with our creation,
evolution, religions, myths, beliefs, etc.
Some contactees are being told that humans are the consequence of ET
encounters with earlier forms of man. Without this contact man never
would have evolved to the point we have. Rael, the chosen prophet and
messiah of the Raelian movement was told as as contactee, that
mankind was created by a group of ET's called the Elohim using
advanced genetic engineering in laboratories 4. Others who believe in
the messages of the Pleiadians are told, that the Pleiadian ancestors
were some of the Original Planners of Earth who seeded this and other
worlds.12 What ever the explanation we are told ET's are involved
with our evolution and creation.

Some contactees are being told that: "Humankind stands now in the
transitional period before the dawn of a New Age. (With peace, love
and understanding, the people of Earth will see a great new era begin
to dawn.) The Space Beings are here to teach, to help awaken the
human spirit, to help humankind rise to higher levels of vibration so
that the people of Earth may be ready to enter new dimensions. 1. We
are poised for a quantum leap forward on both the biological and
spiritual levels. The human soul will evolve.

"If the Earthlings should not raise their vibratory rate within a set
period of time, severe earth changes and major cataclysms will take
place. (Such disasters will not end the world, but shall serve as
cataclysmic crucibles to burn off the dross of unreceptive humanity.
Those who die in such dreadful purging will be allowed to reincarnate
on higher levels of development so that their salvation will be more
readily accomplished through higher teachings on a higher vibratory
level.)" 2

Others are being told that the receptive or chosen will be saved by
benign ET's and their ships when these disasters take place. Some
like the Raelians are told they will experience some kind of eternal
existence through further genetic engineering ie. cloning.

A major leap in consciousness and evolution is about to take place:
Crop circles, UFO sightings and contactee and abductee experiences
are preparing those who are receptive of these changes. Events such
as the Harmonic Convergence are lifting the veil so the Higher
Galactic intelligences of the universe will be able to channel their
energies and influences to facilitate the shift towards a New Age.12

Evidence for these claims are: the many abductee and contactee
experiences with similar stories and messages, physical scars, hybrid
babies, recognition of some kind of symbolic or hieroglyphic language
etc. There seems to be according to researchers increasing cases
worldwide of UFO sightings, crop or landing circles, animal
mutilations, abductions of men, women and children.

According to Dr. Karla Turner, who has worked with over 400 abduction
cases and has written the book "Into the Fringe", says if abduction
accounts can be believed and there is confirmation of many of these
facts with other researchers - the abduction phenomena includes some
of the following details: from -UFO Universe, Spring 1993. Aliens -
Friends or Foes by Dr. Karla Turner:

Aliens can alter our perceptions of our surroundings.

Aliens can control what we think we see. They can appear to us any
number of guises and shapes.

Aliens can be present with us in an invisible state and can make
themselves only partially visible.

Abductees receive marks on their bodies other than the well-known
scoops and straight-line scars. These other marks include single
punctures, multiple punctures, large bruises, three-and four fingered
claw marks, and trangles of every possible sort.

Female abductees often suffer serious gynecological problems after
their alien encounters, and sometimes these problems lead to cysts,
tumors, cancer of the breast and uterus, and to hysterectomies.

A surprising number of abductees suffer from serious illnesses they
didn't have before their encounters. These have led to surgery,
debilitation, and even death from causes the doctors can't identify.

Abductees often encounter more than one sort of alien during an
experience, not just the greys. Every possible combination of grey,
reptoid, insectoid, blond, and widow's peak have been seen during
single abductions, aboard the same craft or in the same facility.

Abductees report being scoffed at, jeered at, and threatened by their
alien captors. Painful genital and anal probes are performed...
Unknown fluids are injected into some abductees.

Abductees-"virgin" cases- report being taken to underground
facilities where they see grotesque hybrid creatures, nurseries of
hybrid humanoid fetuses, and vats of colored liquid filled with parts
of human bodies.

Abductees report seeing other humans in these facilities being
drained of blood, being mutilated, flayed, and dismembered, and
stacked, lifeless like cords of wood. Some abductees have been
threatened that they, too, will end up in this condition if they
don't co-operate with their alien captors.

Aliens come into homes and temporarily remove young children, leaving
their distraught parents paralyzed and helpless. In cases where a
parent has been able to protest, the aliens insist that "The children
belong to us."

Aliens have forced their human abductees to have sexual intercourse
with aliens and even with other abductees while groups of aliens
observe these performances. In such encounters, the aliens have
sometimes disguised themselves in order to gain the cooperation of
the abductee, appearing in such forms as Jesus, the Pope, certain
celebrities, and even the dead spouses of the abductees.

Aliens perform extremely painful experiments or procedures on
abductees, saying that these acts are necessary but give no
explanation why.....Painful genital and anal probes are performed, on
children as well as adults.

Aliens make predictions of an imminent period of global chaos and
destruction. They say that a certain number of humans...will
be "rescued" from the planet in order to continue the species, either
on another planet or back on earth after the destruction is over.
Many abductees report they don't believe their alien captors and
foresee instead a much more sinister use of the "rescued" humans.
"In every instance from this list, there are multiple reports from
unrelated cases, confirming that such bizarre details are not the
product of a single deranged mind. These details are convincing
evidence that, contrary to the claims of many UFO researchers, the
abduction experience isn't limited to uniform pattern of events. This
phenomenon simply can't be explained in terms of cross- breeding
experiments or scientific research into the human physiology.......
Before we allow ourselves to believe in the benevolence of the alien
interaction , we should ask, do enlightened beings need to use the
cover of night to perform good deeds? Do they need to paralyze us and
render us helpless to resist? Do angels need to steal our fetuses? Do
they need to manipulate our children's genitals and probe our
rectums? Are fear, pain, and deception consistent with high spiritual
motives?" ......Dr. Karla Turner.

SOME PHILOSOPHICAL AND OTHER PROBLEMS WITH THESE MESSAGES
While there seems to be evidence for UFO related activities as
mentioned above, perhaps there are other possible explanations. Many
UFO paranormal, psychic, and spiritistic manifestations, etc.5,6.
Many abductees, contactees and researchers believe there is an inter-
dimensional or multidimensional quality to the UFO phenomena and
experiences with ET's. . Although the UFO phenomena maybe real it
also could be a holographic illusion or a transmorification of matter
and energy. Perhaps ET's are entities that have power to shape matter
and spirit. Some alien life forms seem to have an ability to shape
shift and appear and disappear 5,6. Dr. J. Allen Hyneck suggested the
phenomena appears to be more psychic than extra-terrestrial and
perhaps comes from a parallel world. This also seems to be Dr.
Vallee's explanation 6, 9.

Dr. Vallee also notes that there are authoritarian overtones to some
of the messages given to contactees 8 i.e.. democracy is obsolete,
elections should be done away with 4, racist ideologies are
encouraged - some have more alien DNA etc., a New World Order is
needed and will be set up with alien help. He also believes that some
kind of control system is being set up by the UFO phenomena which
challenges our traditions and human beliefs systems 6,8. Many
abductees report implants and feel they are being manipulated for
some unknown purpose that's yet to be revealed.

Much of the messages given to abductees and contactees seem to be New
Age in philosophical orientation and language: there are no moral
absolutes, reincarnation is taught, monistic beliefs such as a
vague "kinship with the Cosmos and it's oneness with the Universe or
the Universe as a supreme being" are common, we are being told
that "we stand on the precipice of a quantum leap forward on both a
biological and spiritual level." Man is or is becoming God...etc.
3,13.

If man is one with the cosmos or some impersonal concept of God there
cannot be a basis for truth or ethics. The impersonal, as such is
silent about such things. There is no basis for saying anything is
right or wrong if all is one with God. What you are left with is
total relativism or the arbitrary absolutes of the controllers who
ever they may be. "If All is One , good and evil are reconciled, then
one can can do nothing bad; thus Manson was only acting
logically....the fact that Manson's followers knew him as both Satan
and Christ highlights the collapse of distinctions between good and
evil under moral relativity".13.

As well, finite alien creators cannot provide sufficient absolutes.
You have the same problems as pagan polytheism - the gods are too
small to account for the creation of the universe and not good enough
to provide a basis of morals and truth. Is abducting and raping women
okay if extra-terrestrials do it? Also, why all the authoritarian
overtones to some of the messages? Do they really have our best
interest in mind or is there evidence of some kind of control system?

There are several alien types taking credit for the creation of man
and now some contactees like Rael and Benjamine Cream are claiming to
be prophets of some messianic authority. In fact Rael is claiming to
be the new final prophet and chosen "Messiah" of this age...chosen by
a group of extra-terrestrials who call themselves the Eloheim who
told Rael that they created the human race through genetic
engineering. Rael has over 35,000 followers world wide who call
themselves Raelians...and they wish with the Eloheim's help -to usher
in a world government ruled by an authoritarian elite. 4.

Cream is promoting another "messiah" he calls "Maytrea". Full page
ads in newspapers around the world has announced that this world
teacher is in the world to-day. Cream is also convinced that the
intelligences behind the crop circle phenomena are paving the way for
the soon unveiling of his messiah who will usher in a New World Order
and a New Age.

Skye Ambrose, a famous abductee who was "born again" as she said as a
result her encounter with a strange "grey" type alien with bright
sparkling eyes predicted at a recent UFO conference in Bellevue,
Washington; that "evolution was entering a "peak cycle" that will
create a New Order on the planet. Polarization is occurring on this
planet to separate those who will accept the message and evolve
toward Unity and Oneness and self-realized Godhood and those who will
not not."

Many alien prophesies to contactees of the 50's or to-day have failed
to come true or appear to be outright lies. 14. Many contactees and
abductees to-day are again delivering warnings of coming earth
changes and disasters along with promises of help from aliens...they
feel chosen to deliver a message to mankind ...the prophesies are
creating a false hope and dependency in their abductors who they know
little about.

So what are we dealing with? New Age aliens with some promise of a
golden age or some unimaginable deception to enslave undiscerning
minds. The evidence seems to point to the latter. There have been
many false messianic claims and those foolish enough to repeat
history by following the voices of deceiving entities have been
warned to "beware of false prophets and Christ's who come disguised
as sheep but underneath are ravenous wolves ".10 We should be
reminded of the likes of Adolf Hitler who not long ago promised a New
Age to unsuspecting Germans.

Whitley Striber, in a recent issue of the monthly MUFON Journal,
Sept. 93, states - "I've come away from this experience convinced of
one thing: if there aren't demons out there, there might as well be,
because these guys are indistinguishable from demons.
Indistinguishable. To see them, to look into their eyes, is to be
less - forever......." Striber seems to swing from horror to naive
trust.. you see this in his books and statements to the public.
Perhaps, he is not so sure of the visitor's intentions.

Perhaps we should heed the old warning; 'If, anyone says to you
then, "Look, here is the Christ" or, "He is there", do not believe
it; for false Christ and false prophets will arise and produce great
signs and portents, enough to deceive even the chosen , if that were
possible."11

Some UFO researchers suggest that perhaps the so called 'aliens'
aren't much of a threat, after all if they have been around for this
long and have not taken over then why should we be concerned.
However, if they are not what they appear to be, and the phenomena
has other potentials and realities which include: deception, false
messianic claims, dangerous ideologies, the formation of cults, etc.,
then for historical, social and political reasons we should not
abandon our need for discernment and caution.

Mass Mind Control Through666 Television 666

-BEAST!!!
sSix million Americans became
unwitting subjects in an experiment in psychological warfare.

It was the night before Halloween, 1938. At 8 p.m. CST, the Mercury
Radio on the Air began broadcasting Orson Welles' radio adaptation of
H. G. Wells' War of the Worlds. As is now well known, the story was
presented as if it were breaking news, with bulletins so realistic
that an estimated one million people believed the world was actually
under attack by Martians. Of that number, thousands succumbed to
outright panic, not waiting to hear Welles' explanation at the end of
the program that it had all been a Halloween prank, but fleeing into
the night to escape the alien invaders.

Later, psychologist Hadley Cantril conducted a study of the effects of
the broadcast and published his findings in a book, The Invasion from
Mars: A Study in the Psychology of Panic. This study explored the
power of broadcast media, particularly as it relates to the
suggestibility of human beings under the influence of fear. Cantril
was affiliated with Princeton University's Radio Research Project,
which was funded in 1937 by the Rockefeller Foundation. Also
affiliated with the Project was Council on Foreign Relations (CFR)
member and Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) executive Frank Stanton,
whose network had broadcast the program. Stanton would later go on to
head the news division of CBS, and in time would become president of
the network, as well as chairman of the board of the RAND Corporation,
the influential think tank which has done groundbreaking research on,
among other things, mass brainwashing.

Two years later, with Rockefeller Foundation money, Cantril
established the Office of Public Opinion Research (OPOR), also at
Princeton. Among the studies conducted by the OPOR was an analysis of
the effectiveness of "psycho-political operations" (propaganda, in
plain English) of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), the
forerunner of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Then, during
World War II, Cantril÷and Rockefeller money÷assisted CFR member and
CBS reporter Edward R. Murrow in setting up the Princeton Listening
Center, the purpose of which was to study Nazi radio propaganda with
the object of applying Nazi techniques to OSS propaganda. Out of this
project came a new government agency, the Foreign Broadcast
Intelligence Service (FBIS). The FBIS eventually became the United
States Information Agency (USIA), which is the propaganda arm of the
National Security Council.

Thus, by the end of the 1940s, the basic research had been done and
the propaganda apparatus of the national security state had been set
up--just in time for the Dawn of Television ...

Experiments conducted by researcher Herbert Krugman reveal that, when
a person watches television, brain activity switches from the left to
the right hemisphere. The left hemisphere is the seat of logical
thought. Here, information is broken down into its component parts and
critically analyzed. The right brain, however, treats incoming data
uncritically, processing information in wholes, leading to emotional,
rather than logical, responses. The shift from left to right brain
activity also causes the release of endorphins, the body's own natural
opiates--thus, it is possible to become physically addicted to
watching television, a hypothesis borne out by numerous studies which
have shown that very few people are able to kick the television habit.

This numbing of the brain's cognitive function is compounded by
another shift which occurs in the brain when we watch television.
Activity in the higher brain regions (such as the neo-cortex) is
diminished, while activity in the lower brain regions (such as the
limbic system) increases. The latter, commonly referred to as the
reptile brain, is associated with more primitive mental functions,
such as the "fight or flight" response. The reptile brain is unable to
distinguish between reality and the simulated reality of television.
To the reptile brain, if it looks real, it is real. Thus, though we
know on a conscious level it is "only a film," on a conscious level we
do not--the heart beats faster, for instance, while we watch a
suspenseful scene. Similarly, we know the commercial is trying to
manipulate us, but on an unconscious level the commercial nonetheless
succeeds in, say, making us feel inadequate until we buy whatever
thing is being advertised--and the effect is all the more powerful
because it is unconscious, operating on the deepest level of human
response. The reptile brain makes it possible for us to survive as
biological beings, but it also leaves us vulnerable to the
manipulations of television programmers.

It is not just commercials that manipulate us. On television news as
well, image and sound are as carefully selected and edited to
influence human thought and behavior as in any commercial. The news
anchors and reporters themselves are chosen for their physical
attractiveness--a factor which, as numerous psychological studies have
shown, contributes to our perception of a person's trustworthiness.
Under these conditions, then, the viewer easily forgets--if, indeed,
the viewer ever knew in the first place--that the worldview presented
on the evening news is a contrivance of the network owners--owners
such as General Electric (NBC) and Westinghouse (CBS), both major
defense contractors. By molding our perception of the world, they mold
our opinions. This distortion of reality is determined as much by what
is left out of the evening news as what is included--as a glance at
Project Censored's yearly list of top 25 censored news stories will
reveal. If it's not on television, it never happened. Out of sight,
out of mind.

Under the guise of journalistic objectivity, news programs subtly play
on our emotions--chiefly fear. Network news divisions, for instance,
frequently congratulate themselves on the great service they provide
humanity by bringing such spectacles as the September 11 terror
attacks into our living rooms. We have heard this falsehood so often,
we have come to accept it as self-evident truth. However, the
motivation for live coverage of traumatic news events is not
altruistic, but rather to be found in the central focus of Cantril's
War of the Worlds research--the manipulation of the public through
fear.

There is another way in which we are manipulated by television news.
Human beings are prone to model the behaviors they see around them,
and avoid those which might invite ridicule or censure, and in the
hypnotic state induced by television, this effect is particularly
pronounced. For instance, a lift of the eyebrow from Peter Jennings
tells us precisely what he is thinking--and by extension what we
should think. In this way, opinions not sanctioned by the corporate
media can be made to seem disreputable, while sanctioned opinions are
made to seem the very essence of civilized thought. And should your
thinking stray into unsanctioned territory despite the trusted
anchor's example, a poll can be produced which shows that most persons
do not think that way--and you don't want to be different do you?
Thus, the mental wanderer is brought back into the fold.

This process is also at work in programs ostensibly produced for
entertainment. The "logic" works like this: Archie Bunker is an idiot,
Archie Bunker is against gun control, therefore idiots are against gun
control. Never mind the complexities of the issue. Never mind the fact
that the true purpose of the Second Amendment is not to protect the
rights of deer hunters, but to protect the citizenry against a
tyrannical government (an argument you will never hear voiced on any
television program). Monkey see, monkey do--or, in this case, monkey
not do.

Notice, too, the way in which television programs depict conspiracy
researchers or anti-New World Order activists. On situation comedies,
they are buffoons. On dramatic programs, they are dangerous fanatics.
This imprints on the mind of the viewer the attitude that questioning
the official line or holding "anti-government" opinions is crazy,
therefore not to be emulated.

Another way in which entertainment programs mold opinion can be found
in the occasional television movie, which "sensitively" deals with
some "social" issue. A bad behavior is spotlighted--"hate" crimes, for
instance--in such a way that it appears to be a far more rampant
problem than it may actually be, so terrible in fact that the "only"
cure for it is more laws and government "protection." Never mind that
laws may already exist to cover these crimes--the law against murder,
for instance. Once we have seen the well-publicized murder of the
young gay man Matthew Shepherd dramatized in not one, but two,
television movies in all its heartrending horror, nothing will do but
we pass a law making the very thought behind the crime illegal.

People will also model behaviors from popular entertainment which are
not only dangerous to their health and could land them in jail, but
also contribute to social chaos. While this may seem to be simply a
matter of the producers giving the audience what it wants, or the
artist holding a mirror up to society, it is in fact intended to
influence behavior.

Consider the way many films glorify drug abuse. When a popular star
playing a sympathetic character in a mainstream R-rated film uses hard
drugs with no apparent health or legal consequences (John Travolta's
use of heroin in Pulp Fiction, for instance--an R-rated film produced
for theatrical release, which now has found a permanent home on
television, via cable and video players), a certain percentage of
people--particularly the impressionable young--will perceive hard drug
use as the epitome of anti-Establishment cool and will model that
behavior, contributing to an increase in drug abuse. And who benefits?

As has been well documented by Gary Webb in his award-winning series
for the San Jose Mercury New, former Los Angeles narcotics detective
Michael Ruppert, and many other researchers and whistleblowers--the
CIA is the main purveyor of hard drugs in this country. The CIA also
has its hand in the "prison-industrial complex." Wackenhut
Corporation, the largest owner of private prisons, has on its board of
directors many former CIA employees, and is very likely a CIA front.
Thus, films which glorify drug abuse may be seen as recruitment ads
for the slave labor-based private prison system. Also, the social
chaos and inflated crime rate which result from the contrived drug
problem contributes to the demand from a frightened society for more
prisons, more laws, and the further erosion of civil liberties. This
effect is further heightened by television news segments and
documentaries which focus on drug abuse and other crimes, thus giving
the public the misperception that crime is even higher than it really
is.

There is another socially debilitating process at work in what passes
for entertainment on television these days. Over the years, there has
been a steady increase in adult subject matter on programs presented
during family viewing hours. For instance, it is common for today's
prime-time situation comedies to make jokes about such matters as
masturbation (Seinfeld once devoted an entire episode to the topic),
or for daytime talk shows such as Jerry Springer's to showcase such
topics as bestiality. Even worse are the "reality" programs currently
in vogue. Each new offering in this genre seems to hit a new low. MTV,
for instance, recently subjected a couple to a Candid Camera-style
prank in which, after winning a trip to Las Vegas, they entered their
hotel room to find an actor made up as a mutilated corpse in the
bathtub. Naturally, they were traumatized by the experience and sued
the network. Or, consider a new show on British television in which
contestants compete to see who can infect each other with the most
diseases--venereal diseases included.

It would appear, at the very least, that these programs serve as a
shill operation to strengthen the argument for censorship. There may
also be an even darker motive. These programs contribute to the
general coarsening of society we see all around us--the decline in
manners and common human decency and the acceptance of cruelty for its
own sake as a legitimate form of entertainment. Ultimately, this has
the effect of debasing human beings into savages, brutes--the better
to herd them into global slavery.

For the first decade or so after the Dawn of Television, there were
only a handful of channels in each market--one for each of the three
major networks and maybe one or two independents. Later, with the
advent of cable and more channels, the population pie began to be
sliced into finer pieces--or "niche markets." This development has
often been described as representing a growing diversity of choices,
but in reality it is a fine-tuning of the process of mass
manipulation, a honing-in on particular segments of the population,
not only to sell them specifically-targeted consumer products but to
influence their thinking in ways advantageous to the globalist agenda.

One of these "target audiences" is that portion of the population
which, after years of blatant government cover-up in areas such as
UFOs and the assassination of John F. Kennedy, maintains a cynicism
toward the official line, despite the best efforts of television
programmers to depict conspiracy research in a negative light. How to
reach this vast, disenfranchised target audience and co-opt their
thinking? One way is to put documentaries before them which mix of
fact with disinformation, thereby confusing them. Another is to take
the X Files approach.

The heroes of X Files are investigators in a fictitious paranormal
department of the FBI whose adventures sometimes take them into
parapolitical territory. On the surface this sounds good. However,
whatever good X Files might accomplish by touching on such matters as
MK-ULTRA or the JFK assassination is cancelled out by associating them
with bug-eyed aliens and ghosts. Also, on X Files, the truth is always
depicted as "out there" somewhere--in the stars, or some other
dimension, never in brainwashing centers such as the RAND Corporation
or its London counterpart, the Tavistock Institute. This has the
effect of obscuring the truth, making it seem impossibly out-of-reach,
and associating reasonable lines of political inquiry with the
fantastic and other-wordly.

Not that there is no connection between the parapolitical and the
paranormal. There is undoubtedly a cover-up at work with regard to
UFOs, but if we accept uncritically the notion that UFOs are anything
other than terrestrial in origin, we are falling headfirst into a
carefully-set trap. To its credit, X Files has dealt with the idea
that extraterrestrials might be a clever hoax by the government, but
never decisively. The labyrinthine plots of the show somehow manage to
leave the viewer wondering if perhaps the hoax idea is itself a hoax
put out there to cover up the existence of extraterrestrials. This is
hardly helpful to a true understanding of UFOs and associated
phenomena, such as alien abductions and cattle mutilations.

Extraterrestrials have been a staple of popular entertainment since
The War of the Worlds (both the novel and its radio adaptation). They
have been depicted as invaders and benefactors, but rarely have they
been unequivocally depicted as a hoax. There was an episode of Outer
Limits which depicted a group of scientists staging a mock alien
invasion to frighten the world's population into uniting as one--but,
again, such examples are rare. Even in UFO documentaries on the
Discovery Channel, the possibility of a terrestrial origin for the
phenomenon is conspicuous by its lack of mention.

UFO researcher Jacques Vallee, the real-life model for the French
scientist in Stephen Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind,
attempted to interest Spielberg in a terrestrial explanation for the
phenomenon. In an interview on Conspire.com, Vallee said, "I argued
with him that the subject was even more interesting if it wasn't
extraterrestrials. If it was real, physical, but not ET. So he said,
'You're probably right, but that's not what the public is
expecting--this is Hollywood and I want to give people something
that's close to what they expect.'"

How convenient that what Spielberg says the people expect is also what
the Pentagon wants them to believe.

In Messengers of Deception, Vallee tracks the history of a wartime
British Intelligence unit devoted to psychological operations.
Code-named (interestingly) the "Martians," it specialized in
manufacturing and distributing false intelligence to confuse the
enemy. Among its activities were the creation of phantom armies with
inflatable tanks, simulations of the sounds of military ships
maneuvering in the fog, and forged letters to lovers from phantom
soldiers attached to phantom regiments.

Vallee suggests that deception operations of this kind may have
extended beyond World War II, and that much of the "evidence" for
"flying saucers" is no more real than the inflatable tanks of World
War II. He writes: "The close association of many UFO sightings with
advanced military hardware (test sites like the New Mexico proving
grounds, missile silos of the northern plains, naval construction
sites like the major nuclear facility at Pascagoula and the bizarre
love affairs ... between contactee groups, occult sects, and extremist
political factions, are utterly clear signals that we must exercise
extreme caution."

Many people find it fantastic that the government would perpetrate
such a hoax, while at the same time having no difficulty entertaining
the notion that extraterrestrials are regularly traveling light years
to this planet to kidnap people out of their beds and subject them to
anal probes.

The military routinely puts out disinformation to obscure its
activities, and this has certainly been the case with UFOs. Consider
Paul Bennewitz, the UFO enthusiast who began studying strange lights
that would appear nightly over the Manzano Test Range outside
Albuquerque. When the Air Force learned about his study, ufologist
William Moore (by his own admission) was recruited to feed him forged
military documents describing a threat from extraterrestrials. The
effect was to confuse Bennewitz--even making him paranoid enough to be
hospitalized--and discredit his research. Evidently, those strange
lights belonged to the Air Force, which does not like outsiders
inquiring into its affairs.

What the Air Force did to Bennewitz, it also does on a mass scale--and
popular entertainment has been complicit in this process. Whether or
not the filmmakers themselves are consciously aware of this agenda
does not matter. The notion that extraterrestrials might visit this
planet is so much a part of popular culture and modern mythology that
it hardly needs assistance from the military to propagate itself.

It has the effect not only of obscuring what is really going on at
research facilities such as Area 51, but of tainting UFO research in
general as "kooky"--and does the job so thoroughly that one need only
say "UFO" in the same breath with "JFK" to discredit research in that
area as well. It also may, in the end, serve the same purpose as
depicted in that Outer Limits episode--to unite the world's population
against a perceived common threat, thus offering the pretext for
one-world government.

The following quotes demonstrate that the idea has at least occurred
to world leaders:

"In our obsession with antagonisms of the moment, we often forget how
much unites all the members of humanity. Perhaps we need some outside,
universal threat to make us realize this common bond. I occasionally
think how quickly our differences would vanish if we were facing an
alien threat from outside this world." (President Ronald Reagan,
speaking in 1987 to the United Nations.

"The nations of the world will have to unite, for the next war will be
an interplanetary war. The nations of the earth must someday make a
common front against attack by people from other planets." General
Douglas MacArthur, 1955)

Some one remarked that the best way to unite all the nations on this
globe would be an attack from some other planet. In the face of such
an alien enemy, people would respond with a sense of their unity of
interest and purpose." (John Dewey, Professor of Philosophy at
Columbia University, speaking at a conference sponsored by the
Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, 1917)

And where was this "alien threat" motif given birth? Again, we find
the answer in popular entertainment, and again the earliest source is
The War of the Worlds--both Wells' and Welles' versions.

Perhaps it is no coincidence that H. G. Wells was a founding member of
the Round Table, the think tank that gave birth to the Royal Institute
for International Affairs (RIIA) and its American cousin, the CFR.
Perhaps Wells intentionally introduced the motif as a meme which might
prove useful later in establishing the "world social democracy" he
described in his 1939 book The New World Order. Perhaps, too, another
purpose of the Orson Welles broadcast was to test of the public's
willingness to believe in extraterrestrials.

At any rate, it proved a popular motif, and paved the way for
countless movies and television programs to come, and has often proven
a handy device for promoting the New World Order, whether the
extraterrestrials are invaders or--in films like The Day the Earth
Stood Still--benefactors who have come to Earth to warn us to mend our
ways and unite as one, or be blown to bits.

We see the globalist agenda at work in Star Trek and its spin-offs as
well. Over the years, many a television viewer's mind has been
imprinted with the idea that centralized government is the solution
for our problems. Never mind the complexities of the issue--never mind
the fact that, in the real world, centralization of power leads to
tyranny. The reptile brain, hypnotized by the flickering television
screen, has seen Captain Kirk and his culturally diverse crew
demonstrate time and again that the United Federation of Planets is a
good thing. Therefore, it must be so.

It remains to be seen whether the Masters of Deception will, like
those scientists in The Outer Limits, stage an invasion from space
with anti-gravity machines and holograms, but, if they do, it will
surely be broadcast on television, so that anyone out of range of that
light show in the sky, will be able to see it, and all with eyes to
see will believe. It will be War of the Worlds on a grand scale.

Jack Kerouac once noted, while walking down a residential street at
night, glancing into living rooms lit by the gray glare of television
sets, that we have become a world of people "thinking the same
thoughts at the same time."

Every day, millions upon millions of human beings sit down at the same
time to watch the same football game, the same mini-series, the same
newscast. And where might all this shared experience and uniformity of
thought be taking us?

A recent report co-sponsored by the U.S. National Science Foundation
and the Commerce Department calls for a broad-based research program
to find ways to use nanotechnology, biotechnology, information
technology, and cognitive sciences, to achieve telepathy,
machine-to-human communication, amplified sensory experience, enhanced
intellectual capacity, and mass participation in a "hive mind."
Quoting the report: "With knowledge no longer encapsulated in
individuals, the distinction between individuals and the entirety of
humanity would blur. Think Vulcan mind-meld. We would perhaps become
more of a hive mind--an enormous, single, intelligent entity."

There is no doubt that we have been brought closer to the "hive mind"
by the mass media. For, what is the shared experience of television
but a type of "Vulcan mind-meld"? (Note the terminology borrowed from
Star Trek, no doubt to make the concept more familiar and palatable.
If Spock does it, it must be okay.)

This government report would have us believe that the hive mind will
be for our good--a wonderful leap in evolution. It is nothing of the
kind. For one thing, if the government is behind it, you may rest
assured it is not for our good. For another, common sense should tell
us that blurring the line "between individuals and the entirety of
humanity" means mass conformity, the death of human individuality.
Make no mistake about it--if humanity is to become a hive, there will
be at the center of that hive a Queen Bee, whom all the lesser
"insects" will serve. This is not evolution--this is devolution.
Worse, it is the ultimate slavery--the slavery of the mind.

And it is a horror first unleashed in 1938 when one million people
responded as one--as a hive--to Orson Welles' Halloween prank.

In a sense, those people who fled the Martians that night were right
to be afraid. They were indeed under attack. But they were wrong about
who was attacking them. It was something far worse than Martians. Had
they only known the true nature of the danger facing them, perhaps
they would have gone to the nearest radio station with torches in hand
like the villagers in those old Frankenstein movies and burned it to
the ground, or at least commandeered the new technology and turned it
towards another use--the liberation of humanity, instead of its
enslavement.

Mass Mind Control Through Television 666

"The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits
and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic
society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society
constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of
our country… We are governed, our minds molded, our tastes formed, our
ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a
logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized…"

So opens Propaganda (1928), one of several strikingly frank analyses
of western social psychology written by Edward Bernays. This nephew of
Sigmund Freud founded the public relations industry in the United States.

Mr. Bernays lived a fascinating life. He first got involved in high
stakes politics when he "warmed up" the dour Calvin Coolidge by
arranging the first presidential celebrity photo op in 1928. For the
private sector, Bernays engineered a most notorious publicity stunt
for the American Tobacco Company, by single-handedly neutralizing the
taboo against women smoking in public. He organized a "Torches of
Freedom" march down Broadway by ten smoking debutantes during the 1929
Easter Parade. With the help of feminists—some of whom understood the
"right to smoke" as libratory—Bernays expertly publicized this
spectacle, thus setting in motion the expected stir on op-ed pages
across the land.

For Bernays, truth in public affairs did not exist per se. Rather,
truth was the product of the "public relations counsel" forging
prevailing "public opinion." It should be said that he readily
recognized the ethical implications of his work, as witnessed in his
later anti-smoking advocacy, after the dangers of cigarettes became
known in the late-1950s. He could also be, in his own curious way, a
humanitarian—as reflected in his work promoting the NAACP and
anti-syphilis public education.

For Bernays, however, the necessity of controlling the public mind was
a crucially important matter confronting the better element, a group
in which he clearly included himself. In his first work, the hugely
influential Crystallizing Public Opinion (1923), Bernays noted that
the establishment of public education and the gradual extension of the
right to vote caused consternation among western elites. The use of
public relations techniques, then, was a way for the minority to "so
mold the mind of the masses that they will throw their newly gained
strength in the desired direction."
Pandora's Box Opens in the Century of the Self

In the early 20th Century, the public came to associate the words
"propaganda" and "war" with one another. This was no accident. Bernays
wrote in Propaganda: "It was, of course, the astounding success of
propaganda during the [First World] war that opened the eyes of the
intelligent few in all departments of life to the possibilities of
regimenting the public mind."

Bernays is here referring to the "idealistic" Wilson administration's
Committee on Public Information (CPI), a massive propaganda ministry
set up shortly after America's entry into the First World War in April
of 1917. The CPI was headed up by George Creel, a progressive
journalist, who once remarked that "people do not live by bread alone;
they also live by catch-phrases." Bernays was an advisor to the CPI.
So was Walter Lippmann, a former socialist turned liberal who would
become the dean of mid-20th Century American journalism.

These revolutionary psychological insights had actually been
percolating in France and Great Britain since the first years of the
20th Century. They were duly appropriated by Hitler, who wrote in Mein
Kampf (1925): "But it was not until the [First World] War that it
became evident what immense results could be obtained by a correct
application of propaganda. Here again, unfortunately, all our studying
had to be done on the enemy side…" In Bernays's 1965 memoir Biography
of an Idea, he acknowledged that Crystallizing Public Opinion
significantly influenced Josef Goebbels.

In post-World War II America, Bernays provided his services to the
United Fruit Company and the Eisenhower administration. In 1954, the
democratically elected New Deal-style Arbenz government in Guatemala
began expropriating—with compensation—some of that corporation's
largely fallow lands. In due time, Bernays launched a media blitz
which made palatable the (clandestine CIA-backed) coup which would
overthrow the "communist" government.

In our era, President Reagan employed new media management techniques
that built upon the foundation laid by Bernays. The "great
communicator" employed a cadre of shrewd "spin doctors," prominent
among Michael Deaver and David Gergen, who would go on to also work
for Bill Clinton. Gergen was soon enough displaced by another
bipartisan operator, a former consultant to Jessie Helms, named Dick
Morris. He successfully "triangulated" Clinton, "the man from Hope"
who "felt our pain," into a second term.

Bernays, with his detached air of studied bemusement, had this to say
to liberal social reformers. "Good government can be sold to a
community just as any other commodity can be sold." Today we witness
not the penny ante fibs of liberals, but the astounding rightist
machinations of Karl Rove.
The Public & Its Problems

The title of this segment is borrowed from the great pragmatist
philosopher and educator John Dewey, who engaged in a heated public
debate with Lippmann—and by proxy Bernays—during the 1920s. Lippmann
felt that the efficacy of propaganda during the war, in tandem with
the meteoric subsequent rise of the Ku Klux Klan, demonstrated that
the public's suggestibility was a real danger to democracy. In
Lippmann's reality, "the herd" was too ignorant to participate in
democracy beyond selecting from what he called the choice between
"tweedledee and tweedledum." Dewey sharply disagreed; he thought, as
FDR later did, that public education could at least mitigate the
irrational element in human nature.

Some readers might at this point aver that the bygone writings of
Dewey, Lippmann and some obscure flack don't amount to much today.
After all, we already know to be skeptical of advertising glitz, to
say nothing of political promises.

There is however the little matter of the Bush administration's
rhetoric and the socio-psychological context it created in the
aftermath of the horrific onslaughts of 9/11. Even some of the
President's realist supporters now concede that he wasn't entirely
above board when it came to invading Iraq. So the question must be
asked: how does an American president communicate with the public?
Well, his words are calculated and his persona is molded by the modern
political descendants of the public relations counsel.
The Triumph of "Turd Blossom"

Karl Rove—given the above nickname by our jocular President—is an
extraordinarily keen student of American psychology and history. He is
well aware of the back story to contemporary political fixtures like
the focus group—a technique innovated by Edward Bernays. Consequently,
it doesn't take too much effort to discern the afterimage of Bernays's
teachings in Bush's rhetoric.

In Crystallizing Public Opinion, Bernays related how governments and
advertisers can "regiment the mind like the military regiments the
body." This discipline can be imposed because of "the natural inherent
flexibility of individual human nature." He also instructed that the
"average citizen is the world's most efficient censor. His own mind is
the greatest barrier between him and the facts. His own `logic proof
compartments,' his own absolutism are the obstacles which prevent him
from seeing in terms of experience and thought rather than in terms of
group reaction."

In addition to what Bernays saw as a widespread individual resistance
to reason in public affairs, he contended "physical loneliness is a
real terror to the gregarious animal, and that association with the
herd causes a feeling of security. In man this fear of loneliness
creates a desire for identification with the herd in matters of opinion."

Once within the "herd," the "gregarious animal" still wishes to
express his or her opinion. Therefore, the public relations counsel
must "appeal to individualism [which] goes closely in hand with other
instincts, such as self-display."

Quoting Wilfred Trotter and Gustav Le Bon [two leading
turn-of-the-century social psychologists], Bernays agreed that "the
group mind does not think [emphasis in original] in the strict sense
of the word… In making up its mind, its first impulse is usually to
follow the example of a trusted leader. This is one of the most firmly
established principles in mass psychology." [Emphasis mine] To sum up,
what Bernays called the "regimentation of the mind" is accomplished by
taking advantage of the human tendency to self-deception,
gregariousness, individualism and the seductive power of a strong leader.

The allure of determined leadership—one can read all about it in
management and self-help books—is heightened in times of turmoil. The
last election almost certainly turned on the question of whose
leadership could best "keep America safe." George W. Bush, thanks to
Karl Rove, absolutely rolled John Kerry on this question. Kerry, the
decorated vet, was successfully depicted as a French-loving,
wind-surfing "liberal flip-flopper." And then we all heard, ad
nauseum, that he "betrayed his comrades" in Vietnam by "throwing away
his medals" at some hippie protest or other. That these smears had
nothing to do with Kerry's program ended up being irrelevant.

Bernays expressed this deep-seated yearning for strength and
decisiveness repeatedly in Crystallizing Public Opinion. "We have to
take sides. We have to be able to take sides. In the recesses of our
being we must step out of the audience onto the stage and wrestle as
the hero for the victory of good over evil. We must breathe into the
allegory the breath of our life." Bill Clinton, another astute
observer, had this to say about Bush's public appeal: "it's
[politically] better to be strong and wrong than right and weak."

The term individualism is rather at the core of the Republican Party's
rhetoric, most often preceded by the quintessentially American
modifier "rugged." The individual is free to autonomously "pursue
happiness." Once the suburban pioneer has achieved happiness, which
today means financial success, his or her strivings should not be
punished. Or so the story goes. And soon enough one finds ordinary,
ambitious middle class folks clamoring for upper class tax cuts.

Bernays and Rove both recognized the need for Americans in particular
to feel as if they belong to something larger than themselves. We are
after all by far the most religious post-industrial society on the
planet. The American people want to embrace something that provides
clarity, something that plays to their vanity and hence
self-understanding. Having won the "leadership" and "individual
initiative" battles, Rove delivered victory to George W. Bush for an
additional underlying reason.

Rove very cleverly marketed the President's message via easily
digestible catch phrases that elicited in the consumer a deep
connection. The Republicans stand for "security," "strong defense,"
"individual liberty" and "moral values." The Democrats stand for…well;
it depends on who you ask. The Democratic Party means many things to
many people, often based on very personal—and hence disparate—notions
of identity. The Republican Party appropriated the bedrock symbolism
of "American togetherness" and thereby again cleaned the Democrats' clock.

Bernays underlined the importance of such symbols in Crystallizing
Public Opinion. "Mental habits create stereotypes just as physical
habits create certain definite reflex actions… these stereotypes or
clichés are not necessarily truthful pictures of what they are
supposed to portray."

The aforementioned Walter Lippmann's work is quoted extensively by
Bernays; Lippmann was his unacknowledged American mentor. In fact,
Bernays wrote Crystallizing Public Opinion one year after Lippmann's
seminal Public Opinion appeared; similarly, Propaganda appeared one
year after Lippmann wrote his deeply pessimistic The Phantom Public.
In this 1925 work, Lippmann belittled what he saw as the nostrums of
American democracy held so dear by so many in our country. "A false
ideal of democracy can lead only to disillusionment and to meddlesome
tyranny. If democracy cannot direct affairs, then a philosophy which
expects it to direct them will encourage the people to attempt the
impossible; they will fail, but that will interfere outrageously with
the productive liberties of the individual. The public must be put in
its place… so that each of us may live free of the trampling and the
roar of a bewildered herd."

Mass Mind Control Through Network Television

Mass Mind Control
Through Network Television
Are Your Thoughts Your Own?

Why do countless American people go along with the War on Iraq? Why
do so many people call for a police state control grid? A major
component to a full understanding of why this kind of governmental
and corporate corruption is to discover the modern science of mind
control and social engineering. It's baffling to merely glance at the
stacks of documentation that this world government isn't being
constructed for the greater good of humanity. Although there are a
growing number of people waking up the reality of our growing
transparent soft cage, there seems to be just enough citizens who are
choosing to remain asleep. Worse yet, there are even those who were
at least partially awake at one time but found it necessary to return
to the slumber of dreamland.

This is no accident; this is a carefully crafted design. The drive to
dumb down the populations of planet earth is a classic art that
existed before the United States did. One component to understanding
and deciphering the systems of control is to become a student of the
magicians of influence and propaganda. In order to defeat our enemies
(or dictators), its imperative that we understand how they think and
what they believe in.

When people think about mind control, they usually think in terms of
the classic "conspiracy theory" that refers to Project MkUltra. This
program is a proven example of 'overt mind control.' The project had
grown out of an earlier secret program, known as Bluebird that was
officially formed to counter Soviet advances in brainwashing. In
reality the CIA had other objectives. An earlier aim was to study
methods 'through which control of an individual may be attained'. The
emphasis of experimentation was 'narco-hypnosis', the blending of
mind altering drugs with carefully hypnotic programming.

A crack CIA team was formed that could travel, at a moments notice,
to anywhere in the world. Their task was to test the new
interrogation techniques, and ensure that victims would not remember
being interrogated and programmed. All manner of narcotics, from
marijuana to LSD, heroin and sodium pentathol (the so called 'truth
drug') were regularly used.

Despite poor initial results, CIA-sponsored mind control program
flourished. On 13 April 1953, the super-secret project MK-ULTRA was
born. Its scope was broader than ever before, and only those in the
top echelon of the CIA were privy to it. Official CIA documents
describe MK-ULTRA as an 'umbrella project' with 149 'sub-projects'.
Many of these sub-projects dealt with testing illegal drugs for
potential field use. Others dealt with electronics. One explored the
possibility of activating 'the human organism by remote control'.
Throughout, it remained a major goal to brainwash individuals to
become couriers and spies without their knowledge.

When it was formed in 1947, the CIA was forbidden to have any
domestic police or internal security powers. In short, it was
authorized only to operate 'overseas'. From the very start MK-ULTRA
staff broke this Congressional stipulation and began testing on
unwitting American citizens.

Precisely how extensive illegal testing became will never be known.
Richard Helms, CIA Director and chief architect of the program,
ordered the destruction of all MK-ULTRA records shortly before
leaving office in 1973. Despite these precautions some documents were
misfiled and came to light in the late 1970's. They laid bare the spy
agency's cynicism. Despite the widespread knowledge of MK Ultra and
the civil lawsuits that followed, this form of behavior modification
is not the most expansive. The real dangers are the types of thought
control that are 'covert' and not the subject of several dozen
Hollywood movies like "Clockwork Orange" and Mel Gibson's "Conspiracy
Theory."

Our founding fathers faced enormous challenges in the formation of
this country and its bill of rights. One challenge was laying down
the groundwork or a free society without knowing what kind of
technological advances would be made. Who would have guessed in those
times that we needed an article in the bill of rights that
specifically prohibits the government and it's associates from
engaged in mind control or thought control. The closest item that
promises our protection from the government is the 4th Article in The
Bill of Rights which states, "The right of the people to be secure in
their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable
searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall
issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and
particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or
things to be seized." Like many are now beginning to note, the US
Constitution and its Bill of Rights are merely given lip service by
our supposedly elected officials.

One of the most common examples of mind control in our so-called free
and civilized society is the advent and usage of the television set.
This isn't to say that all things on TV are geared towards
brainwashing you. They're not. But most of the programming on
television today is run and programming by the largest media
corporations that have interests in defense contracts, such as
Westinghouse (CBS), and General Electric (NBC). This makes perfect
sense when you see how slanted and warped the news is today.
Examining the conflicts of interest is merely glancing at the issue,
although to understand the multiple ways that lies become truth, we
need to examine the techniques of brain washing that the networks are
employing.

Radio isn't any different in its ability to brainwash a population
into submission. Sixty-seven years ago, six million Americans became
unwitting subjects in an experiment in psychological warfare. It was
the night before Halloween, 1938. At 8 p.m. CST, the Mercury Radio on
the Air began broadcasting Orson Welles' radio adaptation of H.

According to researcher Mack White (
http://www.mackwhite.com/), "Psychologist Hadley Cantril conducted a
study of the effects of the broadcast and published his findings in a
book, The Invasion from Mars: A Study in the Psychology of Panic.
This study explored the power of broadcast media, particularly as it
relates to the suggestibility of human beings under the influence of
fear. Cantril was affiliated with Princeton University's Radio
Research Project, which was funded in 1937 by the Rockefeller
Foundation. Also affiliated with the Project was Council on Foreign
Relations (CFR) member and Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)
executive Frank Stanton, whose network had broadcast the program.
Stanton would later go on to head the news division of CBS, and in
time would become president of the network, as well as chairman of
the board of the RAND Corporation, the influential think tank which
has done groundbreaking research on, among other things, mass
brainwashing. Two years later, with Rockefeller Foundation money,
Cantril established the Office of Public Opinion Research (OPOR),
also at Princeton. Among the studies conducted by the OPOR was an
analysis of the effectiveness of "psycho-political operations"
(propaganda, in plain English) of the Office of Strategic Services
(OSS), the forerunner of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Then,
during World War II, Cantril and Rockefeller money assisted CFR
member and CBS reporter Edward R. Murrow in setting up the Princeton
Listening Center, the purpose of which was to study Nazi radio
propaganda with the object of applying Nazi techniques to OSS
propaganda. Out of this project came a new government agency, the
Foreign Broadcast Intelligence Service (FBIS). The FBIS eventually
became the United States Information Agency (USIA), which is the
propaganda arm of the National Security Council. Thus, by the end of
the 1940s, the basic research had been done and the propaganda
apparatus of the national security state had been set up--just in
time for the Dawn of Television."

Experiments conducted by researcher Herbert Krugman reveal that when
a person watches television, brain activity switches from the left to
the right hemisphere. The left hemisphere is the seat of logical
thought. Here, information is broken down into its component parts
and critically analyzed. The right brain, however, treats incoming
data uncritically, processing information in wholes, leading to
emotional, rather than logical responses. The shift from left to
right brain activity also causes the release of endorphins, the
body's own natural opiates--thus, it is possible to become physically
addicted to watching television, a hypothesis borne out by numerous
studies which have shown that very few people are able to kick the
television habit. It's no longer an overstatement to note that the
youth today that are raised and taught through network television are
intellectually dead by their early teens.

The dumbing down of humanity is represented by another shift which
occurs in the brain when we watch television. Activity in the higher
brain regions (such as the neo-cortex) is diminished, while activity
in the lower brain regions (such as the limbic system) increases. The
latter, commonly referred to as the reptile brain, is associated with
more primitive mental functions, such as the "fight or flight"
response. The reptile brain is unable to distinguish between reality
and the simulated reality of television. To the reptile brain, if it
looks real, it is real. Thus, though we know on a conscious level it
is "only a film," on a conscious level we do not--the heart beats
faster, for instance, while we watch a suspenseful scene. Similarly,
we know the commercial is trying to manipulate us, but on an
unconscious level the commercial nonetheless succeeds in, say, making
us feel inadequate until we buy whatever thing is being advertised--
and the effect is all the more powerful because it is unconscious,
operating on the deepest level of human response. The reptile brain
makes it possible for us to survive as biological beings, but it also
leaves us vulnerable to the manipulations of television programmers.
This is where the manipulators use our own emotions as strings to
control us. The distortions and directions we are being moved to are
taking place in the subconscious, often undetected.

Propaganda techniques were first codified and applied in a scientific
manner by journalist Walter Lippman and psychologist Edward Bernays
(nephew of Sigmund Freud) early in the 20th century. During World War
I, Lippman and Bernays were hired by then United States President,
Woodrow Wilson, to participate in the Creel Commission, the mission
of which was to sway popular opinion in favor of entering the war, on
the side of Britain. Edward Bernays said in his 1928 book Propaganda
that, "The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized
habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in
democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of
society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling
power of our country."

The Creel Commission provided themes for speeches by "four-minute
men" at public functions, and also encouraged censorship of the
American press. The Commission was so unpopular that after the war,
Congress closed it down without providing funding to organize and
archive its papers. The war propaganda campaign of Lippman and
Bernays produced within six months such an intense anti-German
hysteria as to permanently impress American business (and Adolf
Hitler, among others) with the potential of large-scale propaganda to
control public opinion. Bernays coined the terms "group mind"
and "engineering consent", important concepts in practical propaganda
work. The current public relations industry is a direct outgrowth of
Lippman's and Bernays' work and is still used extensively by the
United States government. For the first half of the 20th century
Betrays and Lip man ran a very successful public relations firm.
World War II saw continued use of propaganda as a weapon of war, both
by Hitler's propagandist Joseph Gobbles and the British Political
Warfare Executive, as well as the United States Office of War
Information.

Turn on your local newscast. You have a few minutes of blue-collar
crime, hardly any white collar crime, a few minutes of sports, misc.
chit chat, random political jibber-jabber, and a look at the weather
that no one is forecasting correctly. Is that what happened in your
town? And we're supposed to own the airwaves! The mainstream media
openly supports the interests of the prison industrial complex. The
stories focus on minority criminal groups, and exploit the real
threat to appear much more dangerous than they are. Think about the
growing per capita number of prisoners in the country. Then remember
that this is happening at the same time that our prison boom began.
The police on our streets have created criminals. The focus is to
keep us in a state of fear, that way the elitists can attack any
group they want to without fear of consequence. This is why the media
is continuing to craft the timeless art of dehumanization.

The techniques are increasing in their sophistication over time as
the mind scientists that serve the empire continue to discover
scientific breakthroughs as to how the human brain functions, learns,
retains information, and behaves. The most effective brainwashing
techniques are used on the most successful propaganda networks.
Examine the music bed that lies low during the fright night scope of
the second. It's spooky. I wonder if we are supposed to be thinking
with our minds or getting ready for stunt. Observe the graphics with
the music. They're glitzy and flashing. Like the monkey that is
attracted to shiny objects, it's our monkey hand that controls to
remote often stops the search for entertainment when the proper
amount of glamour catches their attention. Most importantly, notice
the repetition behind the lies that the politicians and their
corporate media groupies tell us. You see, the unimaginable fallacies
are created as 'truth' not because it's logical or provable, but
because of the broken record technique. No matter how ridiculous the
lie, it's repeated often enough that the brain doesn't know the
difference between reality and nursery rhymes. This technique is
under estimated in its ability to allow the puppeteers to hypnotize
millions of people. Instead of "Fair and balanced" it's "We say it
enough times, and you believe it."

It's a tragic day when the state can monopolize on the enslaving and
imprisonment of a population. Hollywood will continue to frighten us
with films on the mafia, gangsters, and the corrupt blue collar
criminal whose stupidity and greed get them caught. In the end, our
minds are already pre conditioned to accept living in a police state
economy and society because we read it in the paper, saw it praised
on the news and talk shows, or saw it in a movie. There are several
movies planned right now that support the official story of 911 and a
few movies that glamorize the War on IRAQ. According to David L Robb,
Author of Operation Hollywood, "Hollywood and the Pentagon have a
long history of making movies together. It's a tradition that
stretches back to the early days of silent films, and extends right
up until the present day. It's been a collaboration that works well
for both sides. Hollywood producers get what they want - access to
billions of dollars worth of military hardware and equipment - tanks,
jet fighters, nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers - and the
military gets what it wants - films that portray the military in a
positive light; films that help the services in their recruiting
efforts. The Pentagon is not merely a passive supporter of films,
however. If the Pentagon doesn't like a script, it will usually
suggest script changes that will allow the film to receive the
military's support and approval. Sometimes these proposed changes are
minor. But sometimes the changes are dramatic. Sometimes they change
dialogue. Sometimes they change characters. Sometimes they even
change history." They create something coined 'disinfotainment'. They
mix disinformation with entertainment and call it disinfotainment.

Unadulterated Violence is now accepted on regular TV. Killing in the
name of the mother government is praised, that is unless the violence
is committed in self defense to protect someone from the system.
Sharp shooters, bombers, and assassin are worshipped if they are
fighting for the system, are in the military, or are associated with
groups that control the masses locally, such as the local police
department. I don't condone violence, however it's hypocritical to
support one form of homicide when it favors the elite, and condemn
another when it's done to protect your land, freedom, or loved ones.
This odd reality transfers itself into the shady world of video games
that are stepped in plots and tasks to kill as much as the player
can. The players are getting younger and younger with 7 out of 10
children playing games with a 'Mature' rating. Recently I was
browsing the PC video game selection at a very large electronics
store. I was appalled to see nearly 50 different games in which the
setting of the game is IRAQ and the goal is to kill as many
insurgents as possible and fulfill the mission. Children today are
being indoctrinated through their favorite games and law enforcement
programs to be the button pushes of the weapons of mass destruction
for tomorrow's world.

Is it any wonder why there are two house bills and a senate bill
(with more on the way), which are giant steps in dismantling free
speech of the general public. These bills together would kill (PEG)
cable access centers where the public still owns the airwaves. It's
the programming created locally, without censorship or commercial
gain. Their income is derived from franchises within the local cities
and a small percentage cable subscriber frees. This is a corporate
takeover because this is centralizing communication by removing the
locally based programming and moving the audience to the more
official, nationalistic, and sensational programs that promotes
violence, uniformity, and slavery over peach, diversity and freedom.
Cable access features free speech and information with perspectives
neglected by mainstream television. It also features a free flow
programming system with fresh programs being aired by new producers
on a rotating basis. This keeps the content and information creative
and locally based while network TV is rigid with regular time slots
and repetitive programming.

The blocks of programming that are universally accepted parallel the
shift to craft our entire lives towards the factory's bell and the
illusion of time. This is the creation of the hive mind. The hive
mind is result of massive brainwashing to the general public.
Everyone shares the same thoughts, goals, knowledge and
understanding. A hive mind society gears itself towards conformity
and ignores diversity while masqueraded as the road to utopia in
mainstream television. Network programming, weather it's the news or
drama, is geared towards artificially creating your world and
reality. With the proper amount of entertainment and sensationalism,
we may even be living our lives through the television set. Many
anchors and actors are beautiful and research shows that attractive
people are usually perceived as trust worthy. While the real news
rolls quickly by on the bottom of your screen, the anchor is selling
you on the idea of having your very own police state hell hole right
here in your local jurisdiction, or how 2 sports opposing teams
chased around on a court for 2 hour attempt to score points means
something to you. No education, no information, SPIN. Today the media
represents a tool of brainwashing and indoctrination that is utilized
on behalf of the owners interests.

Since the 1996 Telco act, television and radio stations all across
the nation were bought out by major international media outlets.
Clear Channel and Infinity are the two largest corporations in radio
today. This has centralized the distribution of information and has
threatened our free society ever since. The media drums to the
heartbeat of its owners, whose interests are not of the general
public. Instead they are interested in their other financial
endeavors like defense contracting, oil business, political parties,
prison industry. The conflicts of interest are monumental with the
deregulation of the corporations. The lines are now blurred between
one network's coverage of the war and the other.

Once we come to the conclusion that the media is intentionally
deceiving us, we can apply the principles of problem-reaction-
solution. This formula takes a problem by either creating it or
allowing it to happen and presenting that to the population. It could
be terrorism, molestation, extra terrestrials. These topics create
fear and no one in their right mind would support terrorism or crime.
It's therefore OK to blast the television, the papers, and radio
with 'the problem.' The natural reaction from the people is a request
for more control to ensure more safety. Most let their fear and
emotional side control their decisions and usually translated into
something like, "The government needs more power over our lives to
make us safer and freer from tyranny. I believe what the media tells
me so I will support whatever decisions they make." Today's
mainstream corporate news program discourages dissent of the war and
paints activists with a negative brush that hints of treason. At the
same time, the so-called journalists are cogs in a much larger
machine who know that if they report a story that paints the
government in a dark light, is likely to remain on 'the wire' and off
the front page.

The most disturbing thing about spending a single hour examining
network cable news and modern Hollywood films are the reoccurring
themes in the backdrop. The central ideas of countless "investigative
reports" or "Friday night special" features are about a threat of
some type over the horizon. The end of the world as we know it is
being sold. If the news isn't feeding it to you, then the History
Channel or Discover Channel are either talking about the crusades,
asteroids, UFOs, earthquakes, terrorism, or exposes about serial
killers. They are crafted a message that our world is unstable, and
the threat is always an invisible and dangerous one that only our
military can fix. When you record and log all the messages, you end
up with a script, a screen write produced through the movie studios
of Hollywood hell.
I am not alone in noting this observation. Local and network news are
designing their editorials about despair and fear because the owners,
producers, and editors now understand that fear sells. The end result
are the desired ratings, delivered like expected. The masters of
modern spin understand that we like to be terrified. Just look at the
success in the action/suspense/terror genres that have plopped onto
the conveyor belt and packaged for our glee consumption. When the
editors in charge found out that simply plastering a terror alert
chart didn't scare the people the same way it used to, they began to
kick up the campaign of terror a few notches with new and creative
ways to sell the police state.

When you get to the other side of the terror alerts of all shapes and
sizes, you find another nightmare masquerading as the savior.
The 'Ministry of Truth' will protect you. The mother government is
here to rescue you and squash this brown terrorist bug, this gray
alien, this avian bird flu, and every other nightmare that the
nightly news brought you. The finest public relations specialists
take the science of worshipping our kings down to a frame by frame
level. George W. Bush is pictured in numerous poises with a hallo
around his head. In other pictures, he stands tall with dozens of
American flags blowing in the wind behind him. A more blasphemous
display features him speaking in front of the cross of Jesus Christ.
The message send couldn't be more clearly presented. Our current
leaders are of the messiah status and only through them, will we
reach the gates of safety. The lie that has been accepted by so many
as truth is that this is a religious war. Numerous prime time
programs are telling the story of the crusades (without the horrors)
to synch our vibrations up to something out of the 13th Century,
instead of the 21st Century. If the America people accept the fact
that the crusades are here, that George Bush reports directly to god,
and that revelations are here, then they have won the war for our
minds.

The loudspeaker whispers, "All our problems are by accident, never
design." Across the room the system's minion snorts, "If you have
nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear." It's that plot that says
Middle Eastern terrorists from an Afghan cave are the reason beyond
our little, "War on terror." Related messages in the script demonize
young minority males and suggest harsh punishments for crimes they
commit. They don't come out overtly and state their racist agenda.
They come at you from the side by airing the same crime news
repetitively, usually when it's committed by the minority group. The
networks love the fact that the TV sets the norms in society and
today, and hence politically opinion. Who would imagine that in the
United States of America, both candidates of both parties in the 2004
election would be members of the Skull and Bones society at Yale
University? Out of 290 million Americans, this is the best we could
come up with?

It is the decision of the owners to influence producers, editors, and
others involved to paint to brush to fit the objective, which is the
bottom line. If Sports is what the people want, then they get it,
usually in large doses. Multi-media sports (or spectator sports) is
just an escape from our own existence. It's like gambling, or drug
addiction. It provides that buffer zone of rooting for something with
other people that we've been told is good. People's fantasies also
lead them to fixating on sports. Its simulated masculinity, in an age
where there's a push to change us from men to robots. It's human
nature to resist and fight that which is suppressing us. The
sociologists and psychologists in areas of influence know this.
Spectator sports prove the outlet internationally for what has been
stripped away from us. We've lost the right to rebel and change our
government through warfare if necessary. Today the bulk of our
nation's population today doesn't know what's really going on with
the fall of the American dollar and the plans for the transfer of
American wealth to other countries. However, most can tell you who
the top basketball or football players are. A lot of fans wish they
were the stars, out there on the stage, the court, and the drag
strip. Either you're "numero uno" in center stage or you're nothing.
End of story.

What I never understood when I was in high school was why my peers
and friends would act naïve or ignorant in a "Wayne's World"
or "Beavis and Butthead" kind of way. What I've learned since then is
that the numerous programs that are pimping themselves of
as 'entertainment' are actually demo graphed to the lowest common
denominator. This is especially true with disc jockeys in Radio
today. The reason our airwaves are saturated with jokes and content
centered on fart jokes, private parts, borderline racism, and general
trash talk is because it is selling. In the meantime, large numbers
of our children, young adults, and older audiences are mimicking what
they see and hear because the current 'norm' is selling this behavior
as cool or 'chic.' When the conditioned is so intense that these
forms of content are considered the norm, anything else seems either
bizarre or uninteresting to the average American's attention span
that is decreasing by the day. Hypothetically, if a producer on a
network did get away from a feature story exposing government
corruption at the highest levels, chances are the large impact
necessary wouldn't be realized because the average viewer's brain has
already been conditioned to seek out certain types of disinfotainment.

The media has created the picture perfect society that could exist if
we only did things their way, (their interests/government interest).
It tells us what happiness is and what it is not and same for love,
hate or anything else they can implant into our sub consciousness. We
can become the perfect slave to the system through indoctrination
given through network TV. Over time the messages are becoming
increasingly racist, violent, and dishonest. But the programming
began decades ago and few have the eyes to see it for what it has
become. We live in a world where the populations give their minds
away to the official version of the event, where utopia is right
around the corner when big brother is riding shotgun. It's a world
where Hollywood can make you believe anything, even that you are
free. It's a world in which the prosecutor and the judge sit on the
same side of the bench. The most obvious reason that our minds are
being controlled on a massive scale psychologically, is become our
culture has been conditioned incriminatingly to a TV, a radio, or a
paper. We are given the world reality through a screen, some ink, or
radio waves. The truth is hiding in plain site. The indoctrination
through these mediums warns us that views other than those presented
by them are unimportant and too be condemned. This Administration and
media monopoly has a carefully crafted dehumanization program to
anyone that dissents the official version of events.

Some people are wrong about 5% of the time. Some are wrong most of
the time. I wish I was wrong all the time. A lot of people deal with
these
intense realities, by asking me rhetorically, "What is the solution,
smart guy?" Remember, it's the viewers, the consumers and all the
other little votes called dollars that helped this oligarchy system
lay its concrete foundation in our backyards. We must recognize the
truth about why the system is flawed and enslaving us if we wish to
beat it. The most important solution to fighting this type of
brainwashing and mind control is to start with ourselves and our own
awakening in the smaller things. In this case, it's brainwashing but
after awhile we break Outside the Box and begin venturing outside the
system and into unknown terrain. Fighting with people and forcing
them to understand 'our truth' is not a solution. If our collective
free will created this nightmare, than only our collective free will
change it. The battle begins in the heart and mind of the beholder,
and then extends outward from there, only to those open to the
information.

If you choose to travel the road to the truth, then you must be
prepared for the obstacles that await you. You may be condemned or
criticized by your family, your friends, your lovers, or your co-
workers. This is their programming that began at birth that is doing
exactly what it's supposed to do. You're going to have to be stronger
than that. You must realize that there is a reality that exists
outside of this controlled artificial system. Like Indiana Jones in
the Last Crusade, he took that 'leap of faith' over the bridgeless
canyon in an attempt to get to the other side. Like Neo in the
Matrix, he took the red pill from Morpheus in his attempt to cross
over to his real self. Once you wake up, it's as if a hypnotist came
along and snapped his fingers. You wake up and say to yourself, "Oh
my god. I can see it now. Why did it take me so long to wake up?!"
For some of you it can be a major shock. Like anything else, take
this information and knowledge in stages. If it took a lifetime for
them to mold your reality for you, then you know that it may take
longer than a day to fully awaken. Remember, the journey of a
thousand miles begins with a single step.
